Sneak Peak and Technique Tip

The October T!m 12Tags showed coloring the Distress Glitter with Alcohol Ink.
I got to thinking, how about custom coloring embossing powder?
I mixed some clear embossings powder(it's a polymer ) with a few drops of alcohol ink, and yes! it works.
Same technique as on T!m's blog. and here are the results in Sneak Peak form.

Blessings is colored with Cranberry

Layers

Friends are with you when you build the layers.

Friends stand by you when you have to peel them off, even if it is painful and causes tears.

This quote says a lot about friendship, along with the Summer Friendship  Companion stamps from Quietfire.

Inside the quote reads, You are my friend.

Chris, this one's for you.

Thanks.

And I layered using Spellbinders Card Creators A2 Matting Basics, sets A and B.
Label them as soon as you open the package and it's also a good idea to make a set of the die cuts to keep with them so you can try out mixing and matching the sizes while you are creating.
Visual aids.

I thermal embossed the quote in Versafine sepia, now available at Quietfire along with some other lovely colors.

The water droplets stamp is by Ryn.

Comments and questions always welcomed.

Endless Summer

I wish it was. I love summer and how everyone relaxes a bit, worries less and enjoys life more.
Head for the Beach, put those deadlines on hold.
Then the turn of the calendar page and it's back to overdrive!

So I'm starting with this jar of chocolate cookies and the new Summer Rubber from Quietfire.
Yes I have a deadline and to meet it I'm going to keep it simple.
I told my DT sisters this post would be "out of the box" and here it is, 'out of the jar'!

Using only one stamp set Happy Family Days and one die Spellbinders Labels one, I can make multiple gifts in a summer jiffy.

I thermal embossed the Calligraphic Frame that fits in the second to largest  SB Labels One with Versafine ink.

Then it was fun in the sun on my porch coloring in with Twinkling H2O's. Add a ribbon and off to the party!

Here is a close up. By photo time the day turned cloudy, so you can't see the Stardust pen .

The flourished frame works  as a square and a diamond!
Here  I glammed up the ribbon and

thermal embossed in Ranger Detail Gold.

Same  jar of cookies!  Another party!

Also in this set are
Happy Mother's Day and Happy Father's Day.

Comments and Questions welcome!

You may see more of this jar, if I  don't eat all the cookies! That might call for more stamps another label die!

And now I think it's Hammock time!
