Memorial booklet from a celebration of life for my friend Paulus Berensohn.

Y'all know him from the book, Finding one's way with clay, dancing with Merce Cunningham, and hanging out with M.C. Richards and the Black Mountain School.

In other news,

I have no words for the events in the country last week.

At 3pm we created a FB event for a Peace Circle in my small Town Square.

7pm this is what peace looks like.

All generations-birth to 90's, many skin colors, many genders, economic and educational levels and a dog!

Proud and grateful for this community!

Each week as I travel the world through our desks I'm grateful for what connects us.

Thanks for visiting and being Peace.

WOYWW? 422 -Following the rules

WOYWW ?

No more paperwork in creative areas.

BUZZKILL!

We're featuring techniques- only one per post over at Quietfire Digital and Quietfire Creations

and it about killed me to only feature one on the Home is the Heart of life ATC.

Please visit  Quietfire Digital for details

Exclusive to Deskers!

The stenciled hearts- use your stencil brush to add ink to the hearts through the stencil, then dab on some Versamark, and with the stencil still in place, sprinkle on the embossing powder so it builds up. You can pat it down a bit with a spoon,

Carefully remove the stencil and heat from underneath.

Then you can go whole hog by applying wink of stella and glossy accents!

(or not)

TIA for visiting and your kind words! I'm off to see the world via WOYWW!

WOYWW 419 - Recovery

WOYWW?

My computer died. It was swift. I don't think she suffered.

I suffered!

(it's only money {right})

Note prayer candle.

To find out more about these adorable baskets that can be made in 15 minutes (truth)

 please visit

Quietfire Creations.

I've read if you want to talk about hard stuff with kids, do it when you are driving so they don't have to look at you.

I think crafting together works just as well and you don't have to worry about getting in a wreck if the conversation goes south!

Note lovely fabric ATC's in the rear.

Thanks so much Twiglet and Annie.

Strange lighting in the photo-I left it, feeling it was moody!

You may be wondering why I have dead flowers on my desk.

You wouldn't if you could smell them.

Gardenias!

Mine are in bloom and I can't bare to pick them till they are ugly to look at on the bush.

They continue to perfume the room for a week!

So... I'm rambling-happy to be back in cyber space visiting all of you!

WOYWW 416- 8th Anniversary!

WOYWW?

Happy 8th Anniversary to All

Most especially Julia who brings us all together each Wednesday, for better or worse, in sickness and in health, richer and poorer.

We've been through a lot together,

...and here's to many more!

Untouched, unstaged(obviously) view of my desk.

Take me as I am dear deskers!

I did search out the WOYWW pin gifted to me by Julia, and am enjoying my last views of the ATC's shortly on their way to next desker forward and Julia.
If I get it together I'll post more about them at Quietfire Creations.

They are on these cute little stands I got at a volunteer appreciation dinner meant to hold cell phones.

Cell phones down! ATC's up! Time for visiting!
