New Spring rubber and new Spring Distress Ink-sounds like a challenge!
Using only Shaded Lilac, Squeezed Lemonade and Peacock Feathers ( and gold, when in doubt add gold)
I created this Friendship Book Necklace. It can also be hung as an ornament.
Inside are three envelope pages that contain tag affirmations and a pin.

This is the front cover inside-lots of surfaces for quotes.

Background has flourishes.
Quotes could be added to the envies too!

Below close up of front cover- can you see the heart flourishes? They are stamped in lilac and  thermal embossed with interference purple.

Below is inside back cover -Love this quote-

I'll walk you through some of my process.

I began by swiping the ink pads on  my craft sheet.
The yellow and lavender are so light I added some drops of reinker, and some Picket Fence stain.
I dropped and twisted white card stock into the inks, dried and repeated till I got what I wanted ; also added ink with the blending tool, and sprayed with Perfect Pearl mist.

I have several dies for envelopes and inserts and none fit into my cover which I had decided to make from Spellbinders Deckled Rectangles-largest die.
Place the fold of your card below the cut line of the die to get a shaped card.
Cut out dummies from scrap paper to get the shape you want, then make a template out of package plastic for the envelope pages.

Right you can see one of one of the sheets with an envie cut out
and the dark line is the outline of the plastic template.

Tags and labels are die cut from manila folders- I have a lifetime supply of these in various shades of old paper. The Friends quote is on  Spellbinders Label 8 and the Amazing and Love tags, Spellbinders Ribbon Tag Trio Two. I painted on the tags with reinkers and water.
The quotes are thermal embossed with Versafine( I cheated on the color here).

To assemble the book, fold up your envies and place inside of the cover. Line it up and hold in place with a clip.
Make two holes with a drill punch, or awl and insert eyelets.
Add a ribbon, and that's all there is too it.

Below are the inside pages with their inserts. One page is mostly lilac, one mostly lemon and mostly mostly peacock.

And, a matching pin with Bee and dandelion. The die is Spellbinders Lacey Circles-smallest die. I covered the bee with Glossy Accents or Diamond Glaze for fun! Stickles jewels.
I love your comments and they enter you into the drawing for $50 of Quietfire Design Rubber!
