Leslie has thrown down the gauntlet (socklet?) and I hope you will pick it up... on your needles.
You can read about Leslie's journey here and follow along on our FaceBook page
Here is a pair I recently finished out of hand spun and dyed targhee fleece.
The fleece was combed top and spun worsted and three plied.
Here is one I've started for my DSIL, same yarn.
Here is the pair I am working on now, for my DB. He is 600 miles away, so I had him send me a photo of his foot, a drawing and some measurements, and this sock has logged some snail mail miles to check the fit.
This fleece is a merino top, came to me dyed , spun worsted and three plied.
If this is Greek to you, come on by Nice Threads and have a lesson on fiber prep, spinning and how to make a sock that fits you (or anyone of your choice) perfectly .
If you are a confident scarf knitter you will be good to go!
You don't even have to purl if you don't want to!
