WOYWW 498- Christmas Birthdays

One of my SIL's birthday is Dec 26.
Sending her a separate card is a must!
I have a box of cards I call the
Pauline Seitchik Memorial Collection
from cleaning  out  my grandmothers closet when she died.
(more than 30 years ago!)
I enjoy sending them to family members as much as hand made cards.
It's important to keep our elders alive in story and holiday tradition.

In other news- if you still need to make quick cards and gifts- your digital cutter is your best friend.
From the comfort of your desk you can DL most of what you see on my desk from

Visit Quietfire Digital later today for more on the Nutcracker Sugarplum fairy ornament.

I enjoyed doing a lot of visiting last week while I was snowed in and I was having trouble leaving comments on blogger.
Please forgive me if I didn't comment!
Hope to visit y'all again this week and catch up on all your desker shenanigans !

Comments and Questions Welcomed !

I love all the little boxes, Robyn - so effective! I agree that a person with a Christmas birthday should always receive a separate card. One of my school friends has her birthday on 1st Jan. and always gets separate stuff, and her mum always used to insist she wrote two thank you letters to everyone, too! What a lovely idea to use your grandmother’s cards for the family.

Happy WOYWW,

How wonderful that you're still using your grandmother's cards - I love that! Speaking about someone keeps their memory fresh, I do that a lot about my parents to my sons, the family stories need to be passed on :-D

I stop by for the last time this year to say hello and wish you happy holidays. What a lovely idea to recycle the cards from your granny... my dad collects old cards (he buys them on flee markets and such) and sends me the most wonderful old cards that have silly (or real old) texts, it's precious to receive those and I think your family will think so too! Love from Holland, Marit #22
