AH(after Helene,) one of the symptoms of acute trauma is inability to focus..
You can see there is not much on my desk.
I'm very grateful to all my arts communities for prayer, support and generous art supplies!
Art Impressions has 3x3" challenges, and January theme was
put a bird on it, so as a Robyn I couldn't resist.
It did take me almost 2 weeks to finish, and I did, and that in itself is healing.
Also an, add gold challenge, and you need a blog to link to and
when I realized it was also Wednesday- done!
Time to focus on what we have not lost more than what we have.
Thanks for visiting, comments and questions always warmly welcomed.

Hello Robyn, so sorry to hear of your troubles which must be heartbreaking. But as you say thankfully the things that are the most important are safe - and a new granddaughter! So good to see you crafting, hopefully it will help especially now your living arrangements are a little more settled. I truly hope 2025 brings you much joy and happiness. Have a great week, love n hugs Cindyxx #11

Your card is lovely! I am taken with that beautiful background! I would love to have you enter your card in my challenges. Both are Anything Goes w/Optional Twist so your creation would fall in the ATG category.

Both are monthly challenges and you can enter up to eight projects per month.
The word Trauma comes from the Greek and means "wound." As a Pediatric Nurse, one of the hardest tasks was teaching kid not to "mess with their stitiches." And then I had to get a cast and I realized it is not so easy to focus on other things when you have a wound. The healing process is slow and every day we are reminded of what we have lost.
I will keep you in my prayers. I will daven for Hashem to restore your focus, and comfort your heart. Mazel Tov on the birth of your new grandchild. May G-d guard her from all evil, grant her a long life and establish the work of her hands.
Happy New Year,
Chana Malkah, WOYWW #17
Oh dear. I do hope you will be feeling less overwhelmed soon. I know it can take a log time to get of such a traumatic event. I cannot believe the damage all the extreme weather seems to trigger. Floods and fires are just so life altering. I'm sure your new grand-daughter is a shining light in the darkness. Give her a big hug! Getting back to finish the list!
