Recovery is slow and somewhat steady here in WNC.

Brave girl cards
If you are a new visiting desker- welcome!
Most days I take what is left on my desk and create a
Brave Girl Card.
I offer them to someone I meet during the day, that I dont know,
to help myself be brave, and to remind them to be brave.

Glad to hear the recovery goes on, after such a traumatic event I expect it takes longer than you realise. You see hurricanes on theTV mostly in films etc. I simply can’t imagine being part of it all. Sending love and blessings. Angela #12

Recovery is never easy. My sister is in NC and while not in a hurricane area (Mooresville) I still worry. FEMA help would have been nice, but glad things are moving forward for you. Your Brave cards are a great idea. I love the designs and that you hand them out. Many days I feel I could use a little jolt of bravery and I bet the people you meet appreciate them a lot. I really hope the season is kind to you.

FEMA was a great help to me and my community. If you would like a card, email me your mailing address- look around the blog and if you see one that speaks to you and I still have it , its yours- or you could suggest a topic and I can pick one out for you , or I can send you one that tells me its for you!
