WOYWW April 16 - I Pause for Paws - Holy Week

It's well know that i am pet deprived, so when Suzanne sent the Pawprint flip card digital file, I flipped!!!
And how about that butterfly frame. The one on the right I sketched first, then cut.
Evolution on the butterfly flip card in the rear, and soon
{services and choir, Wed, Thur, Fri and Sunday}
I'll have a post up with some 15 Minute Wonders like the butterfly spray card in the rear.
Must fly, and I'll do my best to visit as many dear deskers as I can this week.

The weavers eye view..
Hem stitched and ready to be cut off the loom.
Fiber must be wet finished-trial by water- so come back next week to see the transformation.

Comments and Questions Always Welcomed!

I love all the rainbow colours in the weaving....that's one craft I've never tried, possibly because I haven't got the patience to set it all up!! lol. Your cards are so pretty too, really lovely to see :-)

Oh that butterfly ring is so clever. Just like the lettering, remarkable clarity. Oh the woven piece is looking stunning - I have no clue as to the processes so am doubly surprised and fascinated that you now have a water trial to go through! See, if I had your creativity, the men I gave the cards too wouldn't even be bothered that it was a card I liked and so made. But I don't and the very idea of a card for a man makes me knotty! Hope you have a special week - the choir will be really busy.

Wow Robyn, that weaving is just fantastic... Not sure if I've ever seen weaving on WOYWW before. The colours are glorious. Will you be fulling it? I look forward to seeing it once it's finished. Your cuts are fabulous, too - the paw flip card is really fun, and I do love those butterflies. It's high time I got my cutting machine going again - it's been gathering dust for far too long and all I've done since we moved house in the autumn is to take it out of its box and put it in its corner in my new ARTHaven!

Happy WOYWW and Resurrection Day on Sunday!

I just love those SVG cards!!!! I wished my Cricut could do them but I have to un-install Cricut Craftroom for too many errors. Bummer. And looking forward to seeing the finished weaving. It's just beautiful!

Thanks for your visit, Robyn - glad you enjoyed your snoop! Yes, I'm a fibre junkie as well as a texture junkie, and I am keen to start using more fabrics and fibres in my mixed media work. So much to explore!
