I been working on a long over due commission and had to clear off all inky items that could possibly make a mess of my fiber.
You can see the quilt square top on the left- there will be more on this in a later post.
Susannne of Quietfire recently asked me if she had sent me the paracord stuff she had gotten at CHA, and lo and behold she did.(more on that coming too! I love you if you subscribe by email!)
I also found a flower peg loom in the same package, I forgot about, so I quickly made one of those!

Visit here for a special shout out to Julia if you missed it(it's worth going to see!)
Now that you've enjoyed snooping around my desk,
please take a moment to hop over to my new blog

I remember my late mother in law making flowers for the baby blanket she made for me when our son was born many years ago . Its good to see these flower looms come back again Happy woyww jill #9
I love all the busyness in your desk! Do show the finished piece; the shiny red fascinates me! Thanks for stopping by; have a great week.
I have never seen a flower loom before, very cool. Your block is so pretty, love the colors. Hope you share the finished quilt.

busy looking desk! I remember my mom making yarn flowers like that to loop together for a throw. WOW! How times change. Thanks for the blast to the past...I loved crafting and creating with my Mom! Have a great week! Vickie #19
Yep I have one of those looms...darned if I can get a flower from it. ;) Must try again as they'd make great embellies on a mixed media painty piece. Look forward to seeing the finished project. Hugs and Happy WOYWW! Nan G #12
i Robyn! Just looked at your Poetry journal site - looks like fun! I remember making those yarn flowers in high-school, they were fun! The quilt square looks interesting! Thanks for visiting! Lindart #72
Wow, what a lovely looking busy desk! I am totally useless with anything involving yarn (lots of tangles, knots and stress) so I admire anyone who can do it.Thanks for sharing. Happy belated WOYWW. Caro x (#41)

Hello Robyn. Great desk shot this week. Fun play with that little loom. I'm sure my girls used to have one like that. Hope your commission gets finished in time.
